Providence family, I know many of your hearts were stirred by Robin’s testimony of the steadfast love of God that He has displayed to their family through the way He has made known His power, provision, and covenant faithfulness to His children through answered prayer.  The testimony of one of God’s children in the midst of the congregation made very real the wonderful truths we studied in Psalm 111 (and many of the other Psalms)… “Great are the works of the Lord…full of splendor and majesty in His work… He provides food for those who fear Him…He remembers His covenant forever…He has shown His people the power of His works… The works of His hands are faithful and just; all His precepts are trustworthy… He sent redemption to His people.”  What an explosion of praise!!!

As Robin shared, I was moved in my heart that we ought to be more faithful to speak of the steadfast love of our Lord in our lives and give thanks to the Lord in the company of the upright.  So, this coming Sunday during our communion service, I would like to invite you to share with our faith family your testimonies of God’s great works, His great faithfulness, His steadfast love in your life.  How has He been teaching you to connect God and life?

Think about it, pray about it, praise the Lord for it, and then speak of it for His glory and the building up of the body.
